OH MAN, IS MY FACE EVER RED RIGHT NOW!
I feel like a total dumb-ass. When I released the video on Sunday, I somehow forgot to post it here on the Patreon page. My apologies! It’ll never happen again.
Even though this is really late…
There wasn’t much known about Lenny Breau for years. He could have nearly been considered a folkloric legend. That is until 15 years after his death, when his daughter Emily released the painful, but spellbinding documentary about him, The Genius of Lenny Breau.
That documentary piqued the interest of viewers around the world. For certain, it inspired many who watched it. That included yours truly as well the person I interviewed, Ron Forbes-Roberts.
Emily’s movie galvanized the desire in Ron to take 5 years of research and interviews and write the only extensive piece of literature on Lenny to date. One Long Tune: The Life and Music of Lenny Breau, was published in 2006.
In my interview with Ron, he is able to go into more depth, background, and give some new perspectives on Lenny than where even the book takes you.
I hope you enjoy this fascinating, eye-opening interview I do with Ron.

Stay tuned next week where I show you how to get pianist McCoy Tyner’s sound into your guitar playing.
Talk soon,
Adam (Who’s face is still burning red with embarrassment)
