I DID A GIG! Like an actual, playing with other people, in front of even more people, gig! On Tuesday September 21, 2021, I played my guitar for the first time in a LONG time for an audience of enthusiastic listeners. The last time I performed was December 18, 2019!!

OMG! It was soooooo much fun!

I won’t lie, I was a tiny bit nervous as to what it was going to be like. Would I forget how to play with others? Would I forget the songs? Would I forget to… Name whatever else. But you know, it was so fun I didn’t even notice any of my worries. Each of us musicians were so into listening to each other and creating musical dialogue with each other that I just fell into a comfortable blanket of sonic bliss. And everything was better than OK. It was amazing!

I did tape the show, but it was outdoors and even though the sound was pretty dang good, it got so dark, so fast, that I don’t think much of the video footage is even viewable. If some things are salvageable, be on the look out for it soon!

The world feels a little more normal now for me.
