How do I get a gospel organ sound?

I thought that this was the last one in the “Jazz in the Dark” series. But as it turns out I somehow overlooked a barn-burner (Clocked at well over 300 BPM’s) that I’ll release on Friday.

Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, written by Joe Zawinul, and is a great example of a gospel jazz tune. Hope you dig it!

HOW I GET THE ORGAN SOUND:

1 – EHX POG2 effects pedal for the organ sound

2 – Strymon Lex pedal for the rotating Leslie speaker sound

3 – Try to think like an organ player and not a guitar player

Musicians:

Adam Smale – guitar
Evan Hyde – drums
Peter Brendler – bass
Seth Trachy – sax
