I hope everyone is doing well and safe now that COVID looks as though it may be ramping up again.

What did you think of my interview with Lorne Lofsky?

I am starting a new series on my channel called Off The Record where I break down parts of classic recordings and talk about why their solo rocks. The first in the series I will cover, is Ed Bickert’s solo on Just Squeeze Me. Which brings me to my next topic.

I took yesterday off (please forgive me. Ha!) and spent the day with my girlfriend. We rented a car and took a chance to do some things I used to take for granted when I had a car in NYC. (Like stocking up on a big load of groceries for one. 😁) We were supposed to go to the beach but it rained cats and dogs so we just drove around and out to Long Beach, NY despite the rain since we had the car. And because I took yesterday off, I’m now running behind getting the video finished by Sunday.

So I won’t be available this Saturday for our usual monthly online hang. However, I should be available next Saturday, August 7.

I’m looking forward to meeting the new patrons and of course some familiar faces as well.
